You Are

A skilled System Administrator with advanced expertise to administer, monitor, and sustain DHA’s IMS-Dental IT systems across global DHA Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). This role focuses on server operations, system hardening, DICOM/PACS configuration, and ensuring continuous system availability in compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level system administration for DHA IMS-Dental environments.
  • Perform proactive monitoring, PACS server health checks, and configuration management.
  • Conduct SCAP scans, HBSS monitoring, and ensure RMF/STIG compliance.
  • Support Tier 2/3 incident resolution and system troubleshooting.
  • Implement system patches, upgrades, and security controls in coordination with DHA.
  • Generate reports and documentation to support system sustainment and accreditation

Here's What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years in Windows/Linux system administration, with emphasis on enterprise environments.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Server 2016/2019/2025, and Windows 11.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and network administration.
  • Familiarity with PACS/DICOM and dental imaging systems preferred.
  • Residence in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Additional Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance preferred
