You are

As a remote Configuration Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple agile teams by ensuring effective configuration and release management processes.


How You’ll Make An Impact

The Configuration Manager will focuses on maintaining the integrity of system configurations, managing baselines, and enabling seamless delivery of quality products across iterative development cycles.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, tools, and processes.
  • Establish and manage baselines for all project artifacts, including code, documentation, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and manage releases across multiple agile teams, ensuring proper version control and documentation.
  • Automate and streamline the deployment pipeline for consistent and reliable deliveries.
  • Manage configuration and release tools, such as ADO, Git, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
  • Provide training and support to team members on configuration management best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between development teams, QA, operations, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate change control board (CCB) meetings and maintain records of approved changes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and processes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, ensuring traceability of changes and configurations.
  • Identify opportunities for improving configuration management processes and tooling.
  • Implement innovative solutions to reduce manual effort and increase system reliability.

Here's What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15+ year’s  experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience as a Configuration Manager or similar background 
  • US Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Active CompTIA Security Certification or higher
  • Proven experience in configuration and release management within agile environments.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, version control systems, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Very strong detail oriented skills

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience as a Change Manager or Configuration Analyst
