You are a skilled Software Engineer that will  bridge the gap between our users' needs and technological execution.

How you will make an impact

You will play a pivotal role in connecting user needs with technological solutions, handling advanced systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation of complex applications.

Responsibilities 

  • Under general direction, perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills
  • Direct and participate in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E). 
  • Apply higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution
  • Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation and makes charts and graphs to record results. 
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the Task Order
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Ability to translate legacy apps into new apps for modernization efforts
  • Understand client-side and server-side architecture
  • Develop and manage well-functioning applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Assess and remediate any issues found during vulnerability scanning activities
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with customer to enhance existing software
  • Be an active participant in the Agile development process

Here's what you need

  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience as a Software Engineer with a Bachelors degree in a related field or 15+ years of experience with an Associates
  • 5-7 years’ experience using C# required
  • 5-7 years’ experience in debugging web applications using Microsoft Visual Studio required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Experience with Microsoft Web Forms, MVC, .NET Core/ .NET 6+, and .NET 4.x Framework
  • Experience using Angular 13.x+ for Single-Page Application (SPA) architecture
  • Experienced with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Possess an active CompTIA Security+
  • US Citizenship required 
  • Secret clearance required

Bonus if you have
  • Proficiency in Agile development process (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience using modern UX Design principles (CSS, Bootstrap, Material, etc.)
  • Skilled in writing SQL for a major database (Oracle 11-12.x, SQL Server)
  • Experience using APIs (JSON, XML, .NET Core / .NET 6+ with Web API preferred)
  • Experience using Source Control (Git, Azure DevOps, TFS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Blazor
  • Experienced with vulnerability analysis and remediation using commercial tools (HP Fortify, SonarQube, etc.)
  • Experience desired with Classic ASP (VBScript)
  • Experience desired with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) v4.x
