As a remote Business Systems Analyst are curious and enjoy taking on challenging problems, breaking it down into sections, reviewing the information, and asking the right questions. This person must have exceptional people skills as well as creative solutions

How You’ll Make An Impact

The Business Systems Analyst will facilitate and manage projects by serving as the liaison for users and developers. This role is responsible for communicating goals and evaluating results as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements, workflows, and transactions related to HRC operations.
  • Develop and document system and software requirements.
  • Review and validate requirements with team members and stakeholders.
  • Obtain stakeholder approvals for all requirements before starting development.
  • Coordinate with the requirements management team to establish product baselines and oversee governance activities.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Collect human resource management information through interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Research and verify data as needed.
  • Ensure that business processes are accurately documented and maintain consistency.
  • Manage and update requirements and process documentation using Azure DevOps or other approved tools.
  • Participate in testing software changes to confirm they meet requirements.
  • Assist in developing and running automated test scripts.
  • Lead and engage in Agile meetings and processes.
  • Act as the point of contact between the team and government representatives to gather necessary information.
  • Work with the Project Management Team to get approvals on deliverables.
  • Perform quality checks, such as reviews and inspections.
  • Maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Create technical processes to improve efficiency.

Here's What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 15 year’s related experience, or Master’s degree and 10 years’ experience
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with different functional and operational team technical representatives
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • US Citizen
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or higher required
  • Experience and proficiency using all Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated technical writing capabilities
  • Experience writing troubleshooting technical issues
  • Experience working with/in a software development team/environment
  • Experience with Agile

Bonus if you

  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Familiarity with DoD applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET software development
  • Skilled in writing SQL queries
  • Capable of eliciting and documenting software requirements
  • Competent in using Microsoft Visio and Project
  • Demonstrated ability in files and data management
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps
