You Are
The Software Engineer - Intermediate will join our team supporting the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, KY. In this role, you will help deliver innovative, mission-focused software solutions by driving project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and fostering clear communication across teams.

You will play a pivotal role in connecting user needs with technological solutions, handling advanced systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation of complex applications.
Responsibilities
- Understand client-side and server-side architecture and configuration
- Develop and manage well-functioning applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Write test cases and demo software releases to the test team as well as the customer per Agile methodologies
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Assess and remediate any issues found during vulnerability scanning activities
- Document software development as per industry best practices
- Write technical documentation
- Work with customer to enhance existing software
- Be an active participant in the Agile development process

Here's What You Need
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience as a Software Engineer with a Bachelor' s degree in a related field or 15+ years of experience with an Associate's degree
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- An understanding of various programming such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+, Blazor, JavaScript, NodeJS, and angular.
- Strong understanding of logic and debugging methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing detailed descriptions.
- Experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, Playwright
- Possess an active CompTIA Security+
- Must have the ability to work remote
- US Citizenship required
- Secret clearance required
Bonus If You Have
- Experience with Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Experience coding in SQL languages such as Oracle or MSSQL.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual & auto testing, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing and bug-tracking systems.
- Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle management (SDLC).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical soundness, data analysis.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment
