You are a detail-oriented and inquisitive Senior Business System Analyst with a passion for solving complex problems. You thrive on dissecting challenges, analyzing information, and asking insightful questions to uncover the best solutions.

How You Will Make an Impact

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will work as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to guide our software development team. This role is responsible for leading the team to achieve project goals, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex challenges. This person must have exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive creative and effective solutions.

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and government stakeholders to align on project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Lead a cross-functional software development team, including business analysts, developers, and testers, throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements, ensuring they are clear, traceable, and testable.
  • Lead team meetings, technical reviews, and project status briefings with government contacts and senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Team to gain approvals on key project deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor team members, including coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Drive the creation of technical processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure all software changes are rigorously tested and comply with requirements before deployment

Here's what you need

  • Master’s degree and 10+ year’s related experience, or BA/BS with 15+ years’ experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading teams in a software development environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Experience and proficiency using all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills.
  • Active secret clearance
  • Must be a US citizen

Bonus Points 

  • IAT II certification
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management/Agile certification.
  • Experience in DoD Applications
  • Experience working with SAP Reporting tools.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Demonstrated files and data management capabilities
